Local providers and partners

We work with local providers in six countries

We take foreign sellers onto Mercado Libre in Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and Uruguay. In Argentina we run our own warehouse and our own team. Everywhere else we rely on people on the ground — those who ship, store, clear customs, advertise, and handle paperwork better than an outsider ever could.

If your company works in any of these areas, tell us about it. We read every application.

What we are looking for

Eight areas we buy in regularly across all six countries.

International freight

Sea and air freight from China, Turkey, the UAE, Europe, and the CIS into the region's ports and airports. Consolidation, cargo insurance, tracking. We are particularly interested in providers who handle consolidated cargo and small batches.

Customs clearance

Customs brokers and clearing agents. Tariff classification, duty and tax calculation before shipment, handling of physical inspections, licences and permits for regulated categories.

Warehousing and fulfillment

Storage, check-in with photo reports, labeling, pick and pack, dispatch into the marketplace's logistics network, and returns handling. We need both large operators and small warehouses for test batches.

Last mile

Courier companies and carriers that are integrated with the marketplace's logistics, or willing to work with our volumes directly in specific cities and regions.

Marketing and advertising

Agencies and specialists in Mercado Libre advertising, paid campaigns off the platform, listing content (photography, video, infographics), copy in the local language, and work with content creators and influencers.

Lawyers, accountants, tax advisors

Company formation and maintenance, tax filings, tax planning, employment matters, contracts with providers. Separately: trademark registration specialists.

Certification and permits

Support with mandatory certification and homologation in categories that require it: labeling, testing, and registration with the relevant authorities.

Local agents and representatives

People on the ground who can represent the company, visit the warehouse and the port, negotiate with service providers, and settle what email cannot.

What you get

Repeat volume, not a one-off job

We do not serve a single client — we run a flow of sellers, and we buy the same category of services on a regular basis.

Clear commercial terms

Rates are agreed in writing before work starts. We do not renegotiate retroactively or recalculate a price after the service has been delivered.

Payment under contract

Payment terms are written into the framework agreement, against your invoice and the paperwork for the service.

One contract, many clients

No need to negotiate from scratch with each new foreign seller: there is one counterparty, and the volume grows.

Growth alongside us

We are expanding into neighboring countries. A provider who performs well in one gets the offer in the next.

Briefs that make sense

We know how Mercado Libre works and speak the language of your processes: SKUs, lead times, documents, KPIs.

What we expect from you

A legal entity in the country where the service is delivered

Able to invoice under local law.

A clear rate card

Prices, how the cost is built up, what is included and what is billed separately.

Response speed

Our processes run on marketplace deadlines: an email cannot sit unanswered for days.

One accountable contact

A person on your side, not a shared inbox.

Documents for every service delivered

Invoice, delivery note, shipping and customs paperwork — this is what goes into the client dashboard and is shown to the seller line by line.

No grey schemes

We work exclusively with formal imports and official payments. We do not consider proposals involving informal clearance or bypassing payments.

Frequently asked questions

Do you pay referral commission?

This page is about buying services, not an affiliate program. If you have clients who need to sell on Mercado Libre, write to us separately — terms are discussed case by case.

Do you work with individual professionals or only companies?

With individuals too, as long as they can invoice legally in their country. For lawyers, accountants, marketers, and translators this is the norm.

I have no Mercado Libre–specific experience. Is that a dealbreaker?

For freight, customs, warehousing, and legal services, no. For advertising and listing work, platform experience does matter.

What currency do you pay in?

In the local currency of the country where the service is delivered, against your invoice. Other arrangements are discussed separately.

What if you already work with a provider in my country?

We still review the application: a second provider in a category is insurance against downtime and leverage in rate negotiations. The application stays on file.

I supply products, not services. Is this the right page?

No. The seller chooses and buys the product; we do not source goods suppliers. This page is about services inside the region.
