Personal data processing policy

1. General provisions

This Policy defines how the personal data of users of https://latigo.ru (the Site) is processed and protected.

By using the forms on the Site, the user confirms their agreement with the terms of this Policy. If you do not agree with them, do not fill in the forms and do not submit your data through the Site.

The operator may amend the Policy. The current version is always published at https://latigo.ru/en/privacy-policy/.

2. What data we collect

Through the forms on the Site the operator receives the data the user provides voluntarily:

• name or preferred form of address;
• email address;
• phone number or messenger handle (Telegram, WhatsApp);
• information about the intended project: country, product category and description, purchase price, weight and dimensions, expected batch size, current marketplace turnover;
• calculation parameters, if the user asks us to send the result produced by the calculator.

The operator does not request or process special categories of personal data or biometric data, nor data relating to minors.

3. Technical data

When the Site is visited, the following is collected automatically: IP address, date and time of the request, browser type and version, operating system, referring page, and the pages of the Site the user viewed. This information is collected using cookies and web analytics systems and is used in anonymised form to assess how the Site performs.

The user can disable cookie storage in their browser settings. Some functions of the Site may then not work correctly.

4. Purposes of processing

• replying to the user's enquiry through the channel they specify;
• preparing the unit economics calculation and the commercial proposal;
• sending a saved calculation from the calculator;
• sending informational mailings — only with separate consent to subscribe;
• concluding and performing the contract;
• improving the Site and analysing its traffic in anonymised form.

The data is not used for decisions based solely on automated processing and is not passed on for third-party advertising.

5. Legal basis

Processing is carried out on the basis of the data subject's consent, given by ticking the box in the form before submitting it, and on the basis of clause 5, part 1, article 6 of Law No. 152-FZ — for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party.

6. Retention periods and storage

Data is retained until the purposes of processing are met, and for no longer than three years from the user's most recent enquiry, unless another period is set by law or by contract. Once the period expires, or if consent is withdrawn, the data is destroyed or anonymised within no more than 30 days.

The operator applies organisational and technical protection measures: access to the data is limited to team members who need it for their work, and data is transmitted from the Site over the secure HTTPS protocol.

7. Disclosure to third parties

The operator does not sell or disclose personal data to third parties, except:

• to contractors that support the operation of the Site, email delivery, and the CRM — to the extent needed to provide the service and under confidentiality terms;
• between the companies of the group, to the extent needed to prepare the calculation and perform the contract;
• where disclosure is required by law, at the request of the competent authorities.

8. Cross-border transfer

Performing the contract requires the involvement of the group company registered in the country of sale (Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia, or Uruguay). In that case only the data needed to handle the import and the sales is transferred: the user's name and contact details, and information about the product and the batch. The transfer is carried out with the data subject's consent, in the manner set out in article 12 of Law No. 152-FZ.

9. User rights

The user has the right to obtain information about the processing of their data, to require its correction, blocking, or destruction, and to withdraw consent to processing. To do so, send an email to info@latigo.ru with the subject line "Personal data". A reply is sent within 30 days of the request being received.
